Breaking News!

ANTHONY WEINER RESIGNS

After 3 weeks of debate and public debate, Anthony Weiner has decided to resign. At the end of his speech he declares that he wants to continue the work that he has been doing in the past. Do you think that America will be so forgiving as to let Weiner enter the political arena again?

The next question is, will his wife want to repair the remnants of their marriage and began to rebuild???

Let's see what the ladies on the new show "The Talk" have to say...

Is there no shame left in America anymore?

Aside from the countless comical antics of politicians, a part of the problem of mockery in the U.S. is the overwhelming attention of scandals. Scandals are most commonly known as disgraceful behavior which consequentially is damaging to one’s reputation. We saw it with President Clinton and the Monica Lewinsky scandal bringing about topics of popular discussion. Some of which include marital sanctity, private life vs. public life and overall political image. Since the Watergate scandal, a scandal following the word “gate” has become a popular construction of the nickname. In recent news the most popular scandal is the “Weinergate” scandal. Congressman Anthony Weiner was caught sending inappropriate text messages also known as “sexting” to women including a picture of his boxers (which he later said was a joke). While highly inappropriate and frowned upon, this accusation which later proved to be true is of course up for debate. Although initially Weiner lied about commiting the act, constituents and Americans alike have been debating the issue whether or not he should stay in office or go. My take on the issue is if sexting inhibits his ability to do his job and do it well, then he must resign. With the problems are nation faces we collectively cannot afford to have individuals in office that cannot do their job. The state of our economy and America’s well-being is too important to have someone disrupt progress.

Recent Polls have said it’s a 50/50 tie whether he should stay in office:

TOP 10 BUSH MOMENTS....HILARIOUS!

Poor Sarah, What about everyone else…

Much discussion and debate have been circulated about political mockery and a constant steering away from crucial issues. One distraction would be Sarah Palin, from her political career, family matters and idiotic moments. Many supporters of Palin say, what about all of the other politicians who are a part of this political mockery? Whether it’s the media poking fun at President George W. Bush, Barrack Obama, or even Joe Biden laughter continues to fill the air. But the recent argument is that Palin receives more attention (not true) for her antics and their foolery is swept under the rug. This is an absurd suggestion when in fact during the Bush administration most notably David Letterman had his own segment entitled “Great Moments and Presidential Speeches” in which he out right made fun of the president and his foolish moments caught on video. Another example, more recent is when Joe Biden was caught saying the F-word and the media attention that, that moment received.

At the end of the day…the media’s favorite tool is mockery!

A political mockery and a mockery of a female…

The campaign is on for the upcoming 2012 election for president. Among the discussion of presidential candidacy is whether or not Sarah Palin will be running for the upcoming election. This is the same woman who’s celebrity stardom centered around her teenage daughter’s pregnancy and more importantly the gaps in her knowledge regarding simple civic question’s such as whether or not Africa is a continent or country. This is also the same woman that could not name all of the countries in North America. Would we seriously consider her a president of our great nation, the same nation that acts as the world’s police and not only has important issues at home but important issues abroad? Many believe that her recent bus tour is a ploy to announce her wanting to run for president. The other important issue is that if running for office is her intension, she has done little to prepare for such an important position.

Does her book campaign=Running for office?

Fox News calls Sarah Palin an idot...Ouch!

It amazes me that Sarah wants to "preserve and restore" all that's good about America. Meanwhile her actions highlight everything that is wrong with America including politics. It's bad enough there is an ongoing battle for gender equality in America, but Sarah has to make matters worse for every female who is serious about entering the political arena and implementing change. Honestly, if Sarah becomes president I'm moving to another country!!!
